The Denver Nuggets have found a irritant in Jamal Murray and that is a good thing.
Many NBA fans have resorted to hating on the Denver Nuggets’ starting point guard, Jamal Murray, this season. Murray is now the next player to receive a ton of hate due to a few actions he has done this season and last.
However, what if I told you this hate is tired and undeserving? Let’s go ahead and take a look at the three incidents which have led to almost everyone and their mother outside of the Denver Nuggets’ fan base hating the Blue Arrow.
First up, we have last year’s incident. An incident where Jamal dribbled around an over hyped point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Now, normally I would not condone this type of behavior against any other player. However, the Ball family is the Kardashians of the NBA and they do not deserve any recognition for their idiotic actions (stealing in China, punching another player, saying you are better than Jordan).
While Lonzo is the most level headed of the brothers and father, he is not innocent either. He could have easily reigned his dad in when LaVar was making idiotic statement after idiotic statement.
Instead, Lonzo continued to let it happen. Now, thanks to his inaction, Lonzo looks like a bust after being over hyped and it was great to see Jamal knock him down a couple pegs.
Now we are to this season. We have arrived at the Boston Celtics win where Jamal Murray had a career high 47 points.

Jamal, a young point guard, was simply just going for his first 50 point game of his career by shooting a set shot from Stephen Curry range which had little to no chance of going in. As a result, Kyrie Irving threw a fit and threw the ball into the stands.
If you don’t want him shooting it, then contest the shot, that is all I will say. There is no rule about this.
Finally, we have the most recent incident. Russell Westbrook shoved Jamal on a jump ball situation in a game at the Pepsi Center. The funny thing here is, Jamal did nothing wrong.
Russell simply threw a fit because he has never been able to control his temper and his ego for that matter. Murray was not doing anything to antagonize anyone here.
With all of this in mind, it is time to shelf the Jamal Murray hate for a while as these incidents are not that as bad as many people have been trying to make them.
So, here is a message for Jamal. Keep doing what you are doing and keep getting into opponents’ heads.
