By Mathew Huff
Despite a few hiccups, the Denver Nuggets seem on pace to start a new win streak.
The Denver Nuggets were defeated in the first quarter by a score of 30-28. However, the second unit of Denver helped get the team back on track.
Thanks to some key plays by Mason Plumlee and Gary Harris, who is back from a hamstring injury, seems to be playing at an efficient rate.
The result is a score at the half of 61-47. Here are a few notable performances so far.

Paul Millsap started off a bit shaky, but has since then made some great plays. He currently has a stat line of six points on 60% shooting which includes two momentum shifting dunks. He has had a difficult time containing Lauri Markkanen who has 20 points so far, but Paul has also hauled in four rebounds and currently has a player differential of +11 at the half.
Nikola Jokic has been doing Joker things as he has 14 points, five rebounds and six assists which officially puts him on triple double watch entering the second half.
Gary Harris is coming off the bench in his first game back from a hamstring injury as he currently has scored five points on 50% shooting from three point territory so far and he also possesses two assists as well.
Jamal Murray has struggled so far as he only has three points on a putrid 16.7% shooting from the field. However, this has not cost the Denver Nuggets as the others have stepped up in this matchup, particularly from the bench.
Some key highlights include a four point play from Torrey Craig, a put back dunk from Millsap, a reverse layup from Plumlee, a Allen Iverson like dribble move from Nikola and a sequence of Jokic fighting for a second chance opportunity.
So far, the Nuggets have done a good job as a team limiting the turnovers. They only have three despite Chicago only having one.
So far, the Nuggets are in good shape; they just need to keep up the aggressiveness in the second half.
