Trade #2

This may be the most non complicated package on this list.

The Heat get to ship off a player who has been inconsistent that they had high hopes on when he got drafted and get a stretch four who could be a nice fit alongside Hassan Whiteside and/or Bam Adebayo.

After all, sometimes all it takes for a young player to finally thrive is a change of scenery. Look at Emmanuel Mudiay with the Knicks. He is now averaging career highs in many advanced stats categories since he was trades from Denver last year.

Who is to say Justise Winslow would not do the same thing coming off of the bench for the Denver Nuggets?

Winslow does have some potential averaging 12.2 points per game this season on 38% shooting from three point territory. He would certainly add an extra punch to Denver’s lethal three point attack.

Plus, this trade seems to be a low risk, high reward deal for Denver.

It may not go as simply as a straight swap like this if the Heat were to trade for Lyles, but it is certainly something to think about on both sides.
