Would Davis be a good fit in Denver?

Anthony Davis wouldn’t be a bad fit on any team, as players like Davis usually have the power to construct the teams around them, but I think that he would be a really good fit in Denver.

More from Nuggets News

Davis would take much of the pressure off of Jokic to score and defend throughout the night, and Jokic would take playmaking burdens off of Davis, as well as the immense pressure that comes with being the sole star on a team. I believe that their play styles would mesh with the other’s very nicely, with Davis solidifying the Nuggets’ post defense (17th best in the league by FG% within 0-3 feet) and Jokic taking the lead on offense, allowing Davis to set up shop around the paint and take a bit of a breather when his number isn’t called.

This would allow the two players to focus on the areas where they excel, and it would allow them to spend more time on the court, as they wouldn’t need to work as hard with the other player helping them out when they need a rest.

He and Jokic would form what would easily be the best front-court in the league, and with so many young, promising players around them, the Nuggets could become the next NBA dynasty with a trade for Davis.

All they need to do now is go for it.
