NBA MVP Futures Odds

While the Denver Nuggets are not the favorites on any team odds tables, Nikola Jokic is starting to run away with yet another MVP award. He is pretty much a shoo-in at this point, boasting -230 odds at FanDuel to win his third straight MVP award, which would be the first time that feat has been accomplished since Larry Bird did it from 1984-1986. The fact that Joel Embiid is the next closest in the odds table at +400 odds goes to show how strong Jokic’s MVP case is.

For those that hopped on the Joker bandwagon early, you must be reaping the rewards at this point. Jokic had odds as high as +3,000 to win MVP as recently as late November. His play over the past couple of months has basically sealed the deal, however, as it has quickly gone from a four-horse race to a one-horse race down the stretch here. Odds as low as -230 don’t offer a lot of reward, but even so, the risk would seem to be nearly non-existent at this point, which makes it a solid bet.
