The Denver Nuggets’ top 3 playoff threats in the West

The Denver Nuggets are sitting pretty in the No. 1 spot out west. Now 5.5 games ahead of the second-ranked Memphis Grizzlies, Nikola Jokic and the crew seem poised to host any potential playoff opponent in the Western Conference.
Despite their ownership of the best record in the West, Denver should not take anyone lightly this postseason.
Amid an already ultra-competitive playoff race, several teams out west added fuel to the fire at the NBA trade deadline. Some Western Conference contenders acquired big names in blockbuster deals while other teams bolstered their squads with the addition of various role players.
A grand total of four games separate the No. 4 seed Suns and the No. 13 seed Thunder in what has been a back-and-forth tussle of playoff contention in the West.
Several teams will have to put forth their best efforts just to claim a coveted postseason berth. However, many of these squads could prove seriously dangerous once April rolls around.
