The Denver Nuggets are on another hot streak, winning three straight games heading into Monday’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors have won seven of their last 10 games, pulling to within half a game behind the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Toronto is really making a surge with the addition of Jakob Poeltl, which should help the team defense MVP favorite Nikola Jokic on Monday night.
Still, Denver is set as a favorite at home, where it has been unbelievable this season, going 29-4 straight up, the best mark in the NBA.

The Raptors deserve some respect for turning their season around, but the Nuggets are the team to back in this game.
Denver is 20-10-1 against the spread as a home favorite this season, winning those games by nearly 12 points per game.
Toronto is a 6.5-point underdog in this matchup, and I’m not sure that it has the offensive firepower to keep up with Denver.
At home this season, the Nuggets rank No. 2 in offensive rating, No. 4 in defensive rating and No. 1 in net rating (11.8), over a full point better than the Memphis Grizzlies in that stat.
This team takes advantage of the altitude at Ball Arena, and the Raptors (15th in offensive rating, 25th in pace) may not be able to keep up if Denver controls this game early.
I’m playing the Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers in a moneyline parlay (+105) tonight, but you should feel comfortable betting Denver to cover as well.
