The Denver Nuggets are looking to build on their league best 30-4 record at home when they host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

Chicago is on the outside looking in of the play-in tournament picture in the Eastern Conference, and it’s set as a massive underdog in this game.

The Bulls are 11-10-1 against the spread as road underdogs this season, but this is a tough test against a Denver team that is one of the favorites to win the NBA Finals.

The Nuggets survived a scare with the Toronto Raptors on Monday night, and they’re looking to keep things rolling on Wednesday as nine-point favorites.

Denver has the No. 1 net rating in the NBA at home, including a top-five defense. Should bettors lay the number with the Nuggets tonight?

Bulls vs. Nuggets prediction and pick

As home favorites this season, the Nuggets are an impressive 20-11-1 against the spread, winning those games by an average margin of 11.7 points per game.

That’s a problem for Chicago, who is just 3-7 in its last 10 games and has lost two straight.

The Bulls are a solid defense this season (seventh in defensive rating), but their offense (24th) is going to have a hard time competing with Denver’s on Wednesday.

The Nuggets failed to cover against the Raptors on Monday, but they battled in the fourth to come away with the win. Things will be much easier against a Bulls team that doesn’t have a big who can contain Nikola Jokic on the roster.

I’ll lay the points with the Nuggets at home any day.
