Nuggets vs. Suns prediction and odds for Game 6 (Bet Denver to close it out)

The Denver Nuggets blew out the Phoenix Suns in Game 5 in Denver, and they are one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

Denver has been dominant at home in this postseason, going 6-0, but it needs a road win in Game 6 to close out Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.

Phoenix may get Chris Paul (groin) back for this game, but the team was exposed in Game 5 with Booker coming back to earth a bit after shooting 34-for-43 in Games 3 and 4 combined.

Denver comes into this game as a 3.5-point underdog, but I think it is going to pull off the upset to win.

As I mentioned, Phoenix needed all-time performances from Booker and Durant to win Games 3 and 4, and the Nuggets were still in both of those games down to the final buzzer.

Booker shot 8-for-19 in Game 5, missing more shots in that contest than he did in two games in Phoenix. To expect him to be that insanely efficient like he was earlier in this series is a fool’s errand.

Denver is without a doubt the deeper team in this series, and the Suns have not had an answer for Nikola Jokic through five games.

I expect Denver to take advantage of a potentially shorthanded Suns team in Game 6 to close out the series.
