What time and channel is the Nuggets game on tonight? Game 3 vs Timberwolves
By Ben Handler
The Nuggets and their fans wake up on Friday morning knowing that by the time they go to bed, either the season will be all but over, or they’ll be smack dab in the middle of an absolute dogfight. Fans are certainly hoping for the latter, as they desperately need a road win over the Timberwolves to get on the board in their Western Conference Semifinal against the Timberwolves.
With a win, the Nuggets would get on the board and trail the series 2-1, giving themselves a chance to put the pressure back on the Wolves, knowing they could even things up in game four and head back to Denver with all the momentum.
But with a loss, the Nuggets would fall into an 0-3 hole that has proven to be insurmountable as no team in NBA history has erased such a deficit. To put it bluntly, everything is on the line for the Nuggets on Friday night; they’ll either push back and show the heart of a champion, or peter out, all but ending their title defense.
What time does game 3 start?
Game three of the series is set to start at 9:30 PM EST (7:30 MST) on Friday night. The game will likely start 5-15 minutes after coverage begins.
How to watch Game 3
The game will air nationally on ESPN as part of a doubleheader. The first game of the night will be game three of the Knicks and Pacers Eastern Conference Semifinal which gets underway at 7 PM EST. Coverage of the Nuggets game will begin immediately following the East game, but tip-off won’t be moved up.
If the early game runs late, there is a chance the tip could be delayed in Minneapolis, or the game may start airing on ESPN2 or ESPNnews.
Either one, once it gets to about 7 PM MST, Nuggets fans are going to want to make sure they are situated and ready to buckle in for multiple hours to watch the Nuggets attempt to save their season and keep their pursuit of back-to-back championships alive.
