• Lead Blogger: Jonathan Maness

Jonathan took over as lead blogger for Nugglove in February 2010 after some fun and adventurist years in sports journalism. He spent three years as the sports editor for a small daily newspaper in Southwestern Colorado, another two years taking photos of the Denver Nuggets for Hoopsworld (thanks to the great Travis Heath, who we all love and miss on the Nuggets and the NBA front) and for the previous two years, Jonathan has designed the sports section for the Fort Collins Coloradoan as the print industry struggles to survive.

During his time in sports journalism he has interviewed the likes of Champ Bailey of the Denver Broncos, former Philadelphia Eagles punter Dirk Johnson, former Denver Nuggets coach/player Bill Hanzlik and current NBA stars Kevin Love and Ryan Gomes.

His passion for the Denver Nuggets began when the team drafted Dikembe Mutombo, and it led his dog being named Nene.
