Dan Favale joined FanSided in April 2025 as a Senior NBA contributor, with a special focus on the Knicks and Heat. He is also the co-host of the moderately popular, lovably snarky 'Hardwood Knocks' NBA podcast and a national NBA writer for Bleacher Report. He has covered The Association since 2011, during which time he's endlessly lobbied for small-ball lineups, touch passes, and top-55-protected draft picks. His specialties include big-picture breakdowns, salary-cap minutiae, Frank Ntilikina trivia, bad jokes, and run-on sentences, not unlike this one, which will close out by mentioning he was dapped up by Shawn Kemp not just once, but TWICE.
