Why PG Is Better.

If the Nuggets do indeed decided to trade for a star, it should be Paul George. Since the Nuggets are becoming the next asset-rich powerhouse, there were some speculation going around involving Paul George potentially landing with the Nuggets. Before the Draft, Dave Favale of Bleacher Report was exploring trade ideas, and recommended that Denver trade Will Barton, Wilson Chandler, Jusuf Nurkic, the 7th and 15th pick and the Memphis Grizzlies’ top-five protected 2017 first round pick for the 3X All-Star Paul George.

It was only a speculation, but the trade would benefit both teams for the long haul. For the Nuggets, they would be getting a relatively young star that has been inches away from reaching the Finals, but they just never have the right supporting cast around him. Since those trade rumors didn’t have much heat, the Nuggets should still attempt to pursue George. And, for the Pacers, it could give them a deep bench and some addition youth, but only if Larry Bird does not believe that Paul George is the future.
