Otto Porter Jr.

Otto Porter Jr. is having the best season of his career averaging 13.4 PPG and 6.4 RPG while leading the league in 3FG% with a great 43.4%.

More from Nugg Love

Porter has helped the Wizards in a great way, working alongside John Wall and Bradley Beal and complementing each other perfectly. He’s a good defender as well and has learned from his mistakes.

Best part of it? He’s only 23 years old. So there is still room to grow and Denver can be the perfect fit for him if he’s looking for a new start and possibly, a team that he can explode into a great basketball player.

He’s only making 5M this year, so he will be looking for a more lucrative offer, and the Nuggets have that kind of money. And knowing Connelly, he can shoot a great offer that will help both sides and still get the player to fall in love. Sure, he’s a restricted free agent and Washington will surely try to match any offers. But hey, anything is possible.

Downside of this maybe that Porter is not a star nor an established veteran, but like all great teams, patience is a key. And adding that great three point shooting to this Nuggets team will surely help.
