Coming in at number one is the sophomore guard, Jamal Murray.

Murray came in as a rookie last season, and he put together a pretty impressive first year in the NBA. He was an iron man, as it was released that he had played in every one of the 82 games, even with a sports hernia.

He started the season slow, missing his first 18 career shot attempts, but when the first went down, it went up from there. He had several impressive games last season, but the one that I remember the most was against the Chicago Bulls. Murray came off of the bench and lit up the floor, dropping 24 points in a bench role.

He found his name in the starting line-up several times this season, most notably in the point guard spot. When Jameer Nelson was not able to play towards the end of the season, Murray suited up for him. Really, the Nuggets should consider him the starting point guard from here on, because Malone is obviously not sold on Emmanuel Mudiay. A big part of the fan base does not seem to be high on Jameer as well, plus Murray has a lot of potential.

I believe he is ready for a break-out season because if he can crack the starting line-up, it could be fun. He had several good performances off of the bench, and even a thirty point game when he started. Don’t like that style of basketball? How about when he just had ten points, but moved the ball for ten assists? Imagine this unpredictability in the starting line-up every night.

I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a good time to me.
