The Sports Illustrated top 100 NBA players countdown has begun and there are already two Nuggets players on the countdown.

The Denver Nuggets have developed a great arsenal of talent. The Sports Illustrated top 100 NBA players countdown has began and it seems like the countdown has started taken notice of the team.

More from Nugg Love

With the first part of the countdown, there has already been two players from the team who have made appearances. Wilson Chandler was ranked at the position of 84. The other one was Gary Harris made an appearance at 58. Harris has really made great strides ever since he first came into the league and it is good sign to see him ranked this high already.

Although, having him ahead of Wade is a bit of a head scratcher, but that is a different story for another day considering Wade should really be much higher. Chandler made an appearance due to his versatility and his career scoring season last year. Denver is lucky to have two players already make an appearance and the thing is, there will be more players from the Nuggets to come as the countdown continues.

There is no doubt that Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic will make an appearance here pretty soon, but it is good to see that Denver will have multiple players on the countdown compared to last season where they only had Nikola Jokic and Danilo Gallinari in the countdown. If this countdown is any indication, the Denver Nuggets are in for a vastly improved season this coming year. Harris is quite the surprise at 58, but after having somewhat of a break out season last year, he has certainly earned it.

Next: Chandler's Broncos equivalent

Chandler continues to be a solid player which is why he is ranked at 84. It is great to see two Nuggets already in the countdown and there will be more to come.
