Nikola Jokic is clearly the focal point of the Nuggets’ future by now. He earned the keys to the metaphorical Nuggets’ vehicle last season with his crafty and electric play.

Jokic became the first Nugget since Andre Igoudala to log a triple double in a Denver uniform. If that was not enough, he even got into the same conversation as Spurs legend, David Robinson, with multiple triple doubles as a big man in his second year in the league.
However, the future looks even brighter for the Joker. With Denver adding veteran star, Paul Millsap, Jokic now has a great mentor to guide him and assist him with his defense. Not to mention, Millsap is yet another weapon he can utilize with his great passing.
With Jokic make up possibly the third or fourth best front court tandem in the entire league, expect him to do bigger and better things for the Nuggets this coming regular season. Once Nikola got inserted into the starting rotation last December, things finally started to click for the Denver Nuggets. He is the unselfish player every coach dreams of having on their team, and to top it all off, he is a big man as well. Oh, and we cannot forget about his ability to stretch the floor.
While he has made his trademark with his amazing passes, he has shown the ability to put up points in bunches. Do not forget, last season when he went up against Kristaps Porzingis in a game against the New York Knicks, Jokic ended the game with an outstanding 40 points. This is not something anyone can just say.
