As Bleacher Report continued their NBA rankings, they showed Nikola Jokic some love by ranking him the fourth best center in the league.

Nikola Jokic has already became one of the premier stars in the NBA and Bleacher Report has taken notice. On their rankings of the top centers in the league, they ranked the Joker the fourth best center in the NBA putting him ahead of some noteworthy big names.

More from Nugg Love

The names ahead of him make sense as it is DeMarcus Cousins at number one, Rudy Gobert at number two and Karl Anthony Towns at number 3. However, some of the big names behind Jokic include Marc Gasol, Kevin Love (who will play the five spot this year) and Deandre Jordan.

Is he actually better than these centers? We will not know until later, but Bleacher Report seems to have sky high expectations for Nikola who is entering his third season in the league. He is coming off a year where he became the cornerstone for the Nuggets’ future and solidified himself as a legitimate star for not just Denver, but in the entire league as well.

Other notable centers Jokic finds himself ahead of are Hassan Whiteside, Joel Embiid, Al Horford and Andre Drummond. Jokic averaged an incredible 16.7 points per game alongside a 26.3 player efficiency rating which rivaled some of the biggest super stars in the NBA last season.

He will have a lot on his shoulders this season as many expect him to lead to Denver to their first post season appearance in a few seasons, but will be assisted with the presence of veteran star, Paul Millsap.

Millsap was added this summer and will be a great mentor for the young Nikola Jokic and should help him continue on his path to great development.

Next: Player Prediction: Paul Millsap

Jokic is already considered the fourth best center by Bleacher Report and is ready to prove it this season.
