The Nuggets were once again disrespected, this time by a store in New York City selling the new NBA jerseys.

The Denver Nuggets are not a team who jumps to mind when one thinks about the NBA. However, they still deserve to be recognized.

Apparently, a store in New York City did not get this memo. For whatever reason, the Nuggets jersey was the only one not on display in the store when showcasing the new Nike NBA jerseys.

If you do not believe it, then take a look at this picture from Darren Rovell on twitter of the store mannequins on display.

And the Denver Nuggets twitter page wasted no time in pointing out the huge discrepancy.

Once again, the Nuggets are disrespected and completely forgotten despite being one of the up and coming young teams in the league.

One would think the addition of veteran star power forward Paul Millsap to couple with Nikola Jokic in the paint would be enough to put the league on notice and finally get recognized. Or even the development of guys like Gary Harris and Jamal Murray should warrant some credit from the NBA media.

Apparently, there are still places who refuse to acknowledge there is a solid basketball team in the Mile High city. The Nuggets have debuted their new jerseys in the preseason as they have gone away from the powder blue and went with a dark navy blue jersey. Their white jerseys still look pretty much the same, but they still look very sharp.

The store or whoever is in charge of the jerseys on display in the store in New York City should be absolutely ashamed as every team was given credit in a way, except the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets have every right to be angry and they will have a lot of angry fans backing them up if they decide to make some more noise with this situation.
