Earlier, my co-expert Mathew Huff wrote an article on why Jefferson would make a good addition to the Nuggets.
Jefferson is bringing a wealth of veteran leadership to this young Nuggets team. While it is uncertain what the rotation will look like with Jefferson, it is certain that he will make a great addition to the collection of forwards that the Nuggets already have.
In his last two seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jefferson has averaged 5.6 points in 19.15 minutes. This will be Jefferson’s 17th season with the NBA. Throughout his career, Jefferson has averaged 12.8 points in an average 29.4 minutes.

Making Room
What is the caveat to bringing Jefferson on board with the Nuggets? According to Woj, it is looking as though the Nuggets will be waiving veteran guard Jameer Nelson in order to make room on the roster.
Nelson has been with the Nuggets since the 2014-2015 season. Since his arrival in the Mile High City, he averaged 8.8 points in 24.8 minutes.
