In a division rival match up, Nikola Jokic will face Karl Anthony Towns which will feature two of the most promising centers in the game.

Nikola Jokic will be matched up with one of the other younger premier centers in the league. Karl Anthony Town continues to be one of the most intriguing prospects not just on the Timberwolves, but in the entire Northwest division.

Towns can do it all offensively just like Jokic. He can stretch the floor, shoot the mid range shot, and play with his back to his basket. Not to mention being a solid rebounder as well. Where Jokic will have to excel is on the defensive side of the floor.

Jokic isn’t exactly a stellar defender either, but he has really improved this facet of his game this year. Meanwhile, Towns still has a bit to go in order to become an elite defender down low. This game could shape up to be a shoot out between these two young centers. Both are able to score at a high clip and turn the momentum at a moment’s notice.

While the other young players for both squads will still be crucial, this match up could actually dictate who will win the game. The Nuggets are coming off a one point loss resulting in a current 16-14 win loss record.

On the other hand, the Timberwolves possess a record of 18-13. If Jokic did not get hurt, Denver would most likely be closer to Minnesota in wins than they are right now. However, hindsight is 20/20.

All in all, it will be interesting to see who gets the upper hand in this low post battle. Jokic will have the home court advantage this time around, but Towns is still very capable of willing his team to a road win.
