Nuggets battle Mavericks in Dallas

The Denver Nuggets will battle the Dallas Mavericks as they continue to jockey for playoff positioning.
The Denver Nuggets are coming off a win over the defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers. Even though it was a close call, Denver sealed the deal in the waning seconds thanks to a great game from two way player, Gary Harris.

They will journey to Dallas to take on the Mavericks for another must win game. Every game from here on out is a must win for the Nuggets so it is imperative they do not overlook this rebuilding Mavericks squad.
Dennis Smith Jr. and Harrison Barnes are young talents capable of putting up 20 points on any given night, so Jamal Murray and Wilson Chandler will have to step up their defensive intensity. Nikola Jokic will have to try to bounce back after a couple of duds of performances ever since Paul Millsap got re-introduced back into the rotation.
Since Millsap will most likely be matched up with Dirk Nowitski, Jokic’s job should be a tad bit easier as last time, he was trying to deal with the future hall of famer, which he actually did well. Denver has done a solid job of handling business on the road in this home stretch, but it would be a bad look to lay an egg against the Dallas Mavericks team.
The star front court of the Nuggets will have to show up for this game and the bench will have to be prepared if the young guns of the Mavericks get an early lead on the starting unit for Denver.
