Their starting five is certainly nothing to scoff at with the likes of Gary Harris, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray leading the way and Will Barton is an offensive firecracker. We have not even mentioned Paul Millsap yet, a man who happens to be a four time All Star.
Plus, the current second unit for the Nuggets has many players who could very well be starters on many other NBA teams just like the Golden State Warriors’ bench unit.
Players such as Malik Beasley, Juan Hernangomez, Isaiah Thomas, Mason Plumlee and Torrey Craig could very well be starters on a lot of teams in the league who are looking to rebuild or at least make the post season, which goes to show just how deep this Denver Nuggets team is this season.
However, depth is not the only reason the Nuggets will meet the defending champs in the Western Conference Finals.
